History
The Shelford range started life as a commissioned arch for one of our garden centres the man commissioning it said, "just design something a bit different" and the popular Shelford arch was the result. Other garden products, (gazebos bower and loveseat) followed on as requests or ideas arose.
Co-ordinated range for the garden
A co-ordinated range such as the Shelford allows for a number of different products of the same basic design to lend continuity and a uniform theme to a garden, which many people like.
Specials
Two specials (gazebo and arch) are shown at the bottom of the page, commissioned by different establishments to fit within their gardens for functions, usually weddings. Versions have also been purchased by those fortunate enough to have large gardens.
All the Shelford garden range is here, all standard sizes are made from solid bar.

The Shelford Rose or Garden Arch
The Shelford arch is a popular attractive wrought iron style rose or garden arch great for the discerning gardener. Originally made as a commision for a trade customer for their own use, they were so pleased with it that they have stocked these arches ever since. We have made at least one of these rose arches with a weathervane fitted to the top of the arch (available to order).

The Shelford Love Seat Arch
The Shelford love seat, co-ordinates with the rest of the Shelford range. It is based on the Shelford garden arch but fitted with feet to bolt down, the integral seat will allow you to enjoy the garden with a companion.

The Shelford Bower or Arbour
An arbour can create an attractive growing structure in the garden, This Shelford bower was at the heart of a garden makeover its' standard legs have been pushed straight into the ground they can be concreted in.

The Shelford Garden Gazebo
Available now in three standard sizes, the Shelford decorative iron gazebo makes an attractive focal point in any garden.
All our decorative iron garden gazebos can be supplied with bolt down feet at no extra cost to allow them to be bolted down to a patio
or decking as an alternative to the normal legs for ground fixing. Other sizes can somrtimes be made.

Special Large Shelford Gazebo
We can sometimes produce gazebos in non standard sizes larger or smaller than listed. This Gazebo was made for a local conference and sports facility.
Located in their attractive gardens, for use at weddings, it appears as an attractive setting in photographs of happy times.
It is robustly constructed and has a diameter
of 3 metres(10' approx).
This example has been galvanised then powder coated white.
You don't need to hold weddings to have one of these gazebos in your garden.

Large Shelford Wedding Arch
Featuring in countless photographs of happy times, the Shelford wedding arch is an attractive feature in these gardens. The original arch, shown on the left, was commisioned by a major local hotel. It has graced their gardens since 1997.
We have made others since for large private gardens.
The Arch is roughly 2.75 metres (9') wide inside.
At the time of the photograph this arch had been inplace about eleven years.
