Traditional Rose Tunnel

This is our Traditional Rose Tunnel or pergola it is based on a design used frequently during the nineteenth century for not only training roses but also fruit trees. It would have been originally made in solid wrought iron bar, where ever possible we continue to make these in solid bar. Very large sizes may need to be made in box section.Traditional iron Rose tunnel or pergola

Constructed in modular form these traditional tunnels can be made to nearly any length.

The tunnel is made by connecting solid bar hoops (composed of three pieces) with horizontal bars.

Standard walk through width is 4 feet (1.220metres) and distance between hoops is 39" (1metre), height in centre is approximately 7' (2.1metres). Standard tunnel is six foot six long, four feet wide inside and seven foot tall in the centre inside. We have made these in lengths of 26 feet (8 metres) and widths of six foot six (2 metres).

Please contact us with your requirements if you would like a price.

Very Large Arch

Very large metal garden or rose arch

This is the largest Arch we have made so far it is shown assembled and erected at our worshop prior to galvanising.

We usually erect any special arch or gazebo that we have not made to a particular size before despatch to check for rigidity and ease of assembly.

This monster is approximately seventeen feet wide and when it is three feet into the ground will be fifteen feet high in the centre and eleven feet six at the sides with a depth of four feet.
